The Sisters of St. Joseph Thanksgiving Dinner will be served from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day to anyone who is alone, in need or would otherwise not celebrate the holiday. The dinner will once again take place at Gannon University’s Waldron Campus Center, 124 West 7th Street. The meal is free and reservations are not required. Individuals who are homebound can have a dinner delivered. ARRANGEMENTS FOR HOME DELIVERY CAN BE MADE BY CALLING 836-4198 ON TUESDAY, NOV. 21, 2017, BETWEEN 9 AND 11 A.M.
The Thanksgiving Dinner is possible each year because of the hundreds of volunteers and benefactors who come together for this effort. PLEASE NOTE, VOLUNTEERS ARE SCHEDULED IN ADVANCE AND DUE TO THE TREMENDOUS RESPONSE, NO ADDITIONAL VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED.
Monetary donations help cover the cost of the dinner and provide needed resources to local shelters, food banks and agencies throughout the year. Click here if you would like to contribute to the Sisters of St. Joseph Thanksgiving Dinner Fund.
