Spiritual Direction

“Within each of us lies the desire to find meaning beyond the moment … to discover our true selves … to grow closer to God and to one another. A spiritual director can help you satisfy that longing.”

Spiritual Directors International

Spiritual direction is help given by one person to another that enables that person to pay attention to God’s personal communication with him or her. It helps a person attend to life, clarify his or her experience of God, and consciously live out that awareness daily.  The practice of spiritual direction is rooted in Ignatian spirituality and is part of our SSJ spirituality and tradition.

Simply said, our mission is to unite all people with one another and God by responding to the world's ever-changing needs and serving the neighbor without distinction.
