U.S. Federation of Sisters of St. Joseph National Event
Hundreds of Sisters, Agrégées, Associates and Partners in Mission gathered in Kansas City, MO in July for the U.S. Federation of Sisters of St. Joseph Event which takes place every 5 years. This year’s gathering coincides with the 375th anniversary of the founding of the Sisters of St. Joseph in LePuy, France. The anniversary lent itself to being the focus of the gathering with the theme: Celebrate, Embrace, Ignite.
The Federation Event provides an opportunity to experience community, reflect, celebrate our achievements, and look to the future with hope and renewed commitment as members of the Joseph family.
Twelve representatives from Erie attended the event including two members of leadership, Mary Drexler, SSJ and Carol Morehouse, SSJ. They were joined by Marianne Stuckert, SSJ, Nancy Fischer, SSJ, Agregees Charlene Kellerman and Deb Seng, Associates Pat and Richard Marshall, Stephanie Hall, and Cass Shimek; and staff members from the SSJ Mission & Ministries Foundation, Almi Clerkin and Cathy Fresch.
