Villa Maria Elementary School Closes

In 2016, the Sisters announced that Villa Maria Elementary School, a longtime Catholic elementary school in Erie that the Sisters of St. Joseph founded, would close at the end of the 2016-17 academic year. The announcement was made following thorough consideration and review of several factors, most notably the Erie diocesan pastoral planning process results and a review of Catholic education.
