Erie County CROP Walk is Gearing Up
Walk to End Hunger - One Step at a Time!
The 51st Erie County CROP Walk is coming up on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at Presque Isle State Park, beginning at 1:30 p.m. The CROP Walk is an interfaith community event that brings people together to raise awareness and funds to help end hunger—both here in our own community and around the world. Erie County's participation reaches families in more than 35 countries, where 1 in 9 people worldwide lack access to clean water and a healthy diet. The Sisters of St. Joseph have participated in the CROP Walk since its beginning, walking in solidarity with those experiencing hunger and poverty while working toward lasting change. The SSJ Neighborhood Network also receives funding each year through this campaign, to help those in need.
You can participate alongside our sisters directly with your presence on September 27th, or through donations and prayer. Donations may be given to:
Sr. Millicent Zimmer — (814) 836-4184
Sr. Phyllis Hilbert — (814) 449-2901
Let’s walk together, pray together, and take one step at a time toward a world without hunger.
