TAKE BACK THE SITE – Prayer Vigil on September 30th

The Sisters of St. Joseph, Agrégées, and Associates, along with the Sisters of Mercy and Associates, invite you to stand with us in prayer and solidarity at the site of the August 8, 2026, murder of Thomas Heckathorn.

This gathering is an opportunity to reclaim a place marked by violence through prayer, presence, and a commitment to nonviolence.

Together, we will pray for all those harmed by violence—victims, families, communities, and even those who perpetrate violence—and affirm our belief that a nonviolent way of life is possible.

Please join us in prayer as we take back the site and help create a community rooted in peace, healing, and reconciliation.
