Catholic Sisters Week is March 8 through March 14

As communications directors for congregations of Catholic sisters, it can be challenging to shine the spotlight on these extraordinary women and their stories. But what would seem to be an easy task is made difficult by the sisters’ deep-rooted humility and avoidance of any accolades. They don’t do what they do to garner praise; rather, they merely seek to serve God and God’s people. They respond, as Jesus would, where they see needs. From our perspective, however, we see what they do as being so desperately needed in today’s world, that what we do to tell others is vital.
