Executive Director/Director of Development

Full-time, Exempt

The Executive Director/Director of Development for the Sisters of St. Joseph Mission & Ministries Foundation oversees all aspects of the Foundation, including strategy, management, and execution of all fundraising, development, and grant administration, as well as leading annual giving efforts. The Director works closely with the Board of Directors, Congregational Leadership, and staff to plan and execute all development and fundraising endeavors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit or Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in management, preferably in a nonprofit setting
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in professional fundraising
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Raisers Edge (or similar data base)

The Sisters of St. Joseph Mission & Ministries Foundation – a sponsored ministry of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Northwestern Pennsylvania – raises and grants funds to advance the Sisters’ mission of serving the neighbor, without distinction. Foundation funds are used to support the Congregation, its sponsored ministries, and other like-minded organizations that serve neighbors in need.

RNs and LPNs

The Sisters of St. Joseph are seeking applicants for the position of Per Diem RNs and LPNs for 2nd and 3rd shifts. RNs and LPNs are responsible for the administration of medications, treatments, charting, and contributing to the delivery of patient-centered care for all our residents.  Nurses strive to take care of the Sisters in all aspects of their daily lives and offer the opportunity to develop caring relationships with the Sisters. 

Nurse Aides

Nurse Aides assist the professional nurse in providing nursing care, comfort, and assistance to the sisters, including assistance with personal care and activities of daily living (ADLs). Certification preferred, but not required. Second shift, 2:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m., with rotating weekends and holidays. EOE
