St. James Haven Manager
St. James Haven in Meadville is sponsored by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Northwestern Pennsylvania and provides a temporary overnight shelter to homeless men. Saint James Haven provides a ministry of presence to men who choose a place of safety, a warm bed, some food, and friendship nightly. The Manager of St. James Haven ensures the SSJ and the Haven’s mission permeates all aspects of its operations. Director St. Patrick’s Haven
St. Patrick Haven in Erie is sponsored by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Northwestern Pennsylvania and provides temporary overnight shelter to homeless men. The homeless shelter provides a ministry of presence to men who choose a place of safety, a warm bed, some food, and friendship nightly. The Director through a ministry of presence oversees the managers and day-to-day operations of St. Patrick’s Haven. The Director is responsible for planning, organizing, managing and supervising operations of St. Patrick’s Haven in a manner that supports the mission of the Sisters of St. Joseph. RNs and LPNs
The Sisters of St. Joseph are seeking applicants for the position of Per Diem RNs and LPNs for 2nd and 3rd shifts. RNs and LPNs are responsible for the administration of medications, treatments, charting, and contributing to the delivery of patient-centered care for all our residents. Nurses strive to take care of the Sisters in all aspects of their daily lives and offer the opportunity to develop caring relationships with the Sisters.
Nurse Aides assist the professional nurse in providing nursing care, comfort, and assistance to the sisters, including assistance with personal care and activities of daily living (ADLs). Certification preferred, but not required. Second shift, 2:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m., with rotating weekends and holidays. EOE
