St. Patrick’s Day, St. Joseph’s Day, PIAA, NCAA tournaments–what’s not to love about March!

I arrived at Georgetown University the same year as Patrick Ewing so I thought I had died and gone to heaven in the decade of the 80s!  Patrick, Alonzo, Dikembe, Allen Iverson, Jeff Green and Roy Hibbert–I knew them all.  When the latter two played in the Final Four in Atlanta, I accompanied two carloads of law students.  We laughed all the way down and back!

Jeff Green’s mom sat behind me at the Hoyas games–one of our most vocal and boisterous of fans.  The students loved her.  Our international students at the law center, especially, were mesmerized by the crowds, the band, cheerleaders and the wonders of our teams and big time basketball since it isn’t as popular or available abroad as it is in the U.S.  For four years, I did multiple sessions w/those students on the history of the Hoyas–we had a ball!

As I began, March is a magical month, so flip a coin and choose a favorite color or mascot and fill out your bracket.  Good luck with your best guess, but just remember:
