The Leadership Conference of Women Religious (LCWR) is inviting us to look at the 2024 U.S. national election campaign through the lens of transformative justice. We are encouraged to engage in a collective discernment on “What is ours to do in this time?”The work of transformative justice is grounded in contemplation and in skills and practices that lead to decision-making and action resulting in right relationship with Earth and all human persons. We are invited to take responsibility for the personal and collective responses we make in the challenges we encounter during the election period. This is a nationwide initiative with Congregations of Sisters and their charism families coming together to do the work of Transforming Grace.
