A physical therapist, Tom retired from Gannon University where he was an Assistant Professor and taught Pediatrics and Adult Neurology for twenty years. He also worked part-time for 35 years, retiring in June 2018, from the Erie Homes for Children and Adults as a therapist. In his bio that he submitted when he became an associate, he says, “I am a better human being for having worked there part-time for the last 35 years.”
Tom and his wife Mary Lee will celebrate their 43rd wedding anniversary in June. They have five children and eleven grandchildren. Tom is very active at Sacred Heart Parish where he is chairperson of the parish outreach committee and co-director of the parish’s five-year strategic planning committee.
Tom became an associate in 2015 and Sister Mary Fromknecht was his mentor.
