Paul Wilcosz became an SSJ Associate in 2018 at the invitation of his friends, Associates Ted and Mary Wright. Sister Claudia Dombrowski served as his mentor.
Paul first became acquainted with the Sisters of St. Joseph while his children attended Holy Rosary School in Erie. He was involved in all of their school and parish activities, especially sports programs and scouts.
Paul is currently a member of St. Francis Xavier parish in McKean, PA. He is a fourth-degree Knight of Columbus, a member of the McKean Lions Club, and a member of Cursillo. He also was a volunteer fireman/EMT. Paul is very generous with his time and volunteers when help is needed with associate projects and events.
The passage: “Whatsoever you do to the least of my brothers, that you do unto me” is important to Paul and serves as a reminder to live our SSJ charism and reach out to the dear neighbor without distinction.
Paul enjoys spending time with family and friends. He has three children and five grandchildren.
