A native of Ridgway, PA, Linda attended St. Leo Grade School and graduated from Elk County Christian High School in St. Marys, PA. Linda spent four years as a member of the Sisters of St. Joseph before realizing that God had other plans for her. She went on to spend many years in Washington, DC working in various capacities for the federal government, and later in Erie at the Veterans Administration Hospital and the social security office.
Linda became an associate in 1988 with her cousin, Sister Michele Healy, as her mentor.
Presently, Linda is a member of the Pastoral Care Team at Allegheny Health Network/Saint Vincent Hospital, where she reaches out to patients who are only permitted a very limited number of visitors during the pandemic.
Linda enjoys spending time with family in Ridgway, being outdoors, watching sports, listening to music, and singing.
Linda says she is inspired by Leo Buscaglia’s quote, “the purpose of life is to help others. If you can’t help them, won’t you at least not hurt them?”
